C'mon Scott...you know I'm a master gardener (minus the degree). I've set up some "safety" measures simply for the reason that bamboo is a crazy, spreading delight. We have about a 3 foot high raised bed that it's growing in, so we should see the roots poking out. Then, we cut them off....hopefully.

Be cafeful with the bambo. It grows like crazy and spreads out like a weed. My friend just pulled all his.
