Today I was checking out the ravine that we would be taking samples from next week and I took of few pictures of things that I saw.
The next pictures are of the old Allendale dump. At the beginning of this ravine there are giant piles of old rusty metallic objects including old washing machines, old frames of cars, engine blocks and massive amounts of other stuff. The pile of stuff in this ravine is ridiculously huge. Lots of cool old stuff. I found a old tea pot that was partially buried under about 5 feet of sediment. These pictures only show what was at the top of the ravine, at the bottom, there is piles of junk taller than me. The old car I took a picture of was cemented in place by a tree that had completely grown around some of the metal on the car.

that place looks pretty awsome, and old trucks are always fun to take pics of
Yeah, you should really journey out here some time. Lots of cool things to take pics of around here.
Oh hey, umm my dad wants to buy that truck. Any way you could get me in touch with the owner?
Its yours. Have fun spending a fortune trying to get it out of the maze of trees and steep sided ravines.
Allendale, which includes Allendale Terrace and Allendale Park, is considered by many to be the finest non-waterfront area of St. Petersburg.
Allendale is noted for its high ground, stately old oak trees, serpentine brick streets, large estate homes built in the 1920s and 1930s, and Allendale Park. The neighborhood is mostly residential with one commercial operation and two churches.
